Why is it a great activity?

This is designed to help children decode three letter words. Individual puzzle pieces has one letter which makes it easy for children to identify initial, middle, and final sound. The main purpose of creating this interactive jigsaw puzzle, is to recognize that CVC words can be interchangeable. It is important to understand that when an initial letter is taken off and replaced with another letter, it makes up a different word. The same goes for the final letter.

It's a great feeling when students hear the bell sound which indicate they are correct. it's an instant gratification knowing that they've achieved one level after the other through the process of decoding. The best thing about boom is that students can independently work freely because boom allows them to move easily on a self-paced platform. Boom makes it easy for teachers to check the progress of their students. When teachers are looking for a different approach in teaching certain subject areas boom is there to make it easy for them to navigate in creating their own interactive lessons. It's delightfully helpful for parents to create a fun and engaging activity online for their children. Once you go boom you can't go back. Going into the world of boom takes creating lessons to a whole new level of excitement and integration. Worksheets are a thing in the past. Boom is the future.

This fun and enervative activity is a great way to teach and reintroduce consonant vowel consonant. Kids will have fun putting the puzzle pieces together and searching on the Christmas tree for the correct ornament with the matching picture. They will be learning the sounds of each letter and putting them together to create a word. This is a fundamental method of decoding words and its a vital concept to learn as an early reader.
