This is a CVC jigsaw puzzle game that consist of identifying pictures and finding the word that matches. Throughout this activity students will be reading CVC words on a twenty piece puzzle set which corresponds with pictures by clicking on the correct word. Its a simple fluency activity to see how well students can read CVC words.
What is it? In this phonemic awareness activity students will identify the picture and click on the correct word that matches with the picture on the left. If right, a portion of an image is revealed and will proceed to the next picture. If incorrect, a red circle is automatically marked.
Who is it for? This is primarily for early readers who are just beginning to decode words. Students that has acquired the essential skills of letter recognition in the sounds that each letter makes, then this activity is a perfect for blending the sounds together to form words.
How to play it? Students will identify the picture and search for the correct word on the puzzle set that matches the picture. The whole point of the activity is to comprehend how to read and spell words by identifying the sounds that each letter makes and putting them together to form the CVC words.
How to set it up?
