How to play it?
Open up the file in PowerPoint
Go the very top (ribbon section) and click on Slide Show
Click on From Beginning
The game opens up in Presentation mode
On the title page, click the big green button (GO)
Read through the instructions carefully
Once the game begins, follow these steps
1. Click on any one of the ladybug dots to reveal a letter of the alphabet to match
2. Click on the letter that appears
3. Choose a picture that matches with the letter
4. There will only be one correct one indicated by a check mark
5. Once the correct one has been selected, click on the home button to return back to the ladybug; and select the next dot to reveal another letter
6. Once all letters have been revealed, press next to go to the next ladybug. There are six ladybugs to be completed.
How to set it up? Once downloaded, click on Slide Show to put in Presentation Mode. This is the only way it can be played on PowerPoint.
How to use it? This game can be used in the classroom for literacy/language development. It can also be used in a whole group setting for Team A and B. The wheel is set up for this purpose. Navigation buttons are provided to help students with transitioning from one slide to another.
