How to play it?

Why is it a great activity? Your kids will enjoy counting the ladybug dots best because the dots comes in six different colors (black, yellow, pink, orange, blue, and green. Once the tallies are identified, kids will have fun arranging the dots anyway they choose. It can also be used to teach addition. If they place too many dots on the ladybug, a red circle is indicated around the drop zone as an indication that the correct number of dots is not placed in. This will also teach the basic skills of subtracting. Next to the tally display, students will get a chance to spell out the quantity.
